    The idea that the body is the temple of God is also in the Bible. That particular way of wording it is probably more a direct influence from the Bible.

    Great podcast! Love the idea of a functional narrative of the reality of the spirit world. Read about this in an anthropology book years ago and was fascinated. One of my early Indian yoga teachers who grew up in Trinidad used to speak about how this was the accepted reality within the culture.

    I think that maybe Jesus wasn't wrong about the Escheton. There is strong evidence to suggest he travelled far and wide in the undocumented years of his life and was influenced greatly by Hinduism and Eastern beliefs, which he incorporated into his teachings. If this is true, then maybe when he said some will be alive at the end of time, he could have been suggesting Samsara. Then effectively some people would be alive at the end times, even if that is in another million years, but in another body. Maybe he meant the divine spark would still be on Earth.

    This can be a challenging subject to address, but, I guess as we mature enough to _actually_ see ourselves in all beings, having had to go through some serios horrors or such circumstances of all sorts, ourselves, as you ended, my ego thought I should say, two of the trans with an actual future, transparency and transcendency - knowing, after all, it is really all the same as me, for real. Still, we do all eventually have to learn to have physical or even, simultaneously importantly, emotional boundaries to keep from absorbing the - even physically - sickening emotional energies of traumatized psychopaths, though we must have compassion for all of the 'lost souls.' I found your book in Barnes and Noble in Charleston, then I went back, and they'd sold it, so I ordered it, and of course, I'm really enjoying Near Enemies of the Truth. It's funny, I found An Ascension Handbook on the curb in the ghetto of North Charleston when I was 21, and David Deida's Superior Man on the ground when I was like 30, and those two books - off the ground - changed my life. Starting at age 16, by 30, I'd read all of Castenada then I spent 3 years or so reading ancient Mahayana and Siva texts in my late thirties. I betruth and share gnosis and as a gnostic teacher, just getting started - celebrating two years here - 💖I am thankful to check your works, and I have had to show compassion to some of the lowest and highest souls - even in just this one lifetime, just to still be here typing, but fortunately, I've always felt the One. Certainly, even more as there was a huge solar flare one morning when I "fell of my bicycle," just after my head hitting the pavement and a truck "running over me", 5 days in the ER, and - healing 15 broken bones in six months with simply CBD, THC, Sunshine and Bone Broth, in another six months - exactly a year later, I began speaking here.During that healing, I "red-pilled myself", and also, I thought of the term, 'Deathless,' and that 'I was given a second chance.' So, when I saw your book, I knew I'd read it, and that your psycho-logy PhD and being a Nondual Tantra teacher, my mind was, "When the student is ready, the teacher appears." Much respect for your massive sharing - in the Spirit of Peace and Love of the One - from within the magic key word, besides the number one word, Om, 🗝_discernment_ ❤‍🔥

    The air spirits. It sounds crazy to have a grandma afraid of night air, until you meet a human that carries a specific smell that you also smell when you are not in contact with them, but spiritual manipulation is happening. Something like hot garbage truck juice.

  • @alexwelts2553
    @alexwelts2553 10 днів тому

    Wow, thanks for this. I'm about 23 minutes in and I'll probably pop in again to add perspective. I have seen the monad with humans, though i don't know if it's a natural state or manipulation or anchor of some sort. But it'll stack them hierarchical regardless of time or distance. It might be strategically placed Python code to hold people in captivity for political reasons. So Rudolph hess was imprisoned and after death hes been mistaken for Rudolph hoss. Then the human rights lawyer is imprisoned by Chevron and hess is acquired by Chevron, then Chevron doctrine is overthrown. Julian assange is imprisoned for telling the truth, and so am i. I'm a nobody, but up the hierarchy they are increasingly effective and dangerous to narrative.

    Great conversation! Great articulation about the "second ecology" from a seasoned Western mystic here: "Subtle Worlds: An Explorer's Field Notes", David Spangler "This amazing book chronicles sixty plus years of a modern mystic's experience of the subtle worlds of spirit. Taking the attitude of a field biologist David Spangler shares his rich experience and wisdom gleaned from encountering Angels, post-mortem realms, Spiritual Forces, Inner Mentors, Elementals, and other inhabitants of our natural "second ecology". He makes the case that for humanity to be healthy and whole and able to meet the global challenges before us, we need to appreciate and engage these rich and fascinating "energy" environments and the potential allies who live within them."

    Thank you for this conversation. I had an experience in India visiting the temple of Vaishno Devi in Jammu. There was an incredibly long line - hours - to see the goddess. I was told by many in line with me that the goddess will only let you see her if she wants to. I could not imagine what that meant but as I arrived finally at the entrance I was turned away bc I had my camera in my bag (the days before smartphones). I had to return to the bottom, put my camera in a locker, and wait in line all over again, which I did. I was surprised to discover that everyone had been waiting in line to see a rock in a cave with three heads representing Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Kali who had pooled their forces together to create Vaishno Devi. I could feel there was an energy there and it was strengthened by the belief of all who visited. I also had an experience at a very little puja temple known for its miracles on private property about a 5km trek outside of McLeod Ganj. www.hinduamerican.org/blog/all-about-vaishno-devi-the-goddess-of-jammus-cave-shrine

    I really enjoyed the conversation. In my experience, it is commonplace to hear discussions about animism in the world of shamanism, but it has been lacking in Tantrik/yoga circles. Even though talk about gods and goddesses is commonplace, they seem to be represented in an exalted state that is not rooted in the literal ground of being. It was if the animistic roots were being left behind and only hinted at in the fragments and rare mentioning of animal headed yoginis.

    Relistening to this again. First remark, is that not feeling good enough can be more than a mental construct and indeed an energy body state. I can embody that feeling in my physical being and I can embody the opposite. Āsana as mudra is a great example of physically putting the body into a shape to evoke a deeper feeling connected to essence. Secondly, caring about what other people think may be an evolutionary psychological vestige for many, specifically the privileged, but I argue for some, especially those with karmas on the disability spectrum, it is still a psychological trait necessary for survival. We are still creatures of tribalism and community.

    This was remarkable and... the greatest takeaway for me is that this is slowly opening up within me a persistent nagging concern: although I know it's silly, I keep sensing a subconscious judgment of the "lesser things", the local forces and sensations, as if they are "lower" than the absolute. I know of course that such thinking (and it is thinking...Just silly thoughts and judgments) is wrong and inaccurate. I know everything is the absolute, it's all one truth, but not a conceptual one. But untying that knot on a more profound level is hard for me. This interview helped me to affirm that it is perfectly viable to remain with local forces and sensations and explore that. Once again, I already "knew" that but... I need to KNOW it. Deep down. Getting there slowly. Because I reeaaaally love the local forces and sensations so I want to explore them. ❤

      Thank You for responding Christopher. It genuinely means a lot to me. The first point(below) is what comes to my mind when I think about - "comes into this world as a circumstance" And the rest are the result of indulging about these teachings that I’m experiencing. 1. That if a person repeatedly imagines an experience with clear intention and an elevated emotion and start acting like it or assumes/experience his realty to be a certain way (to be in a certain state of vibration) then the universe somehow gradually provides the experience corresponding to his state of vibration. The inner experience would comes as an outer experience in the outer reality. How much truth there is to such methods since I see several testimonies on Joe’s UA-cam page. 2. He claims to heal people. I can make sense about this in terms of the mind’s ability to heal the body but this thing about all possibilities exist in the quantum realm seems to give birth to the idea that a human being can use his/her imagination to get ANY experience that he/she wants. Even things like manifesting a specific person which straight up sounds like manipulation to me and is scary that I can affect others with my act of thinking and feeling. 3. Also if this is to be believed then there arises a constant pressure to maintain states of elevated emotions. If I am not in a state of elevated emotions(which is rare) and ideal thoughts about the reality then I am doing some kind of harm to others or creating a bad reality for others or myself. These teachings or maybe my misunderstanding are creating too much suffering for me to be just as awareness and and make my art authentically. I’m sure there are many people out there going through similar experiences. What would you recommend?

      Thank You for responding, Christopher. It genuinely means a lot to me. The first point (below) comes to my mind when I think about - "comes into this world as a circumstance" And the second one is the result of indulging about these teachings that I’m experiencing. Thinking and understanding, doing and imagining 1. That if a person through sustained attention on a clear intention and an elevated emotion, assumes or experience his realty to be a certain way (to be in a certain state of vibration) and then the universe somehow gradually provides the experience corresponding to his state of vibration. The inner experience would comes as an outer experience in the outer reality. How much truth there is to such methods since I see several testimonies on Joe’s UA-cam page. 2. Even things like manifesting a specific person which straight up sounds like manipulation to me and is scary that I can affect others with my act of thinking and feeling. This is making it difficult for me to be as awareness with whatever that I’m thinking, feeling, and sensing. Also puts a huge pressure on me when I want to authentically express through my art (creative writing). What would you recommend?
